About the plant: Ravintsara thrives in Madagascar and is an evergreen camphor tree that can grow over 30 meters tall.

In naturopathy it is used to treat colds and is a wonderfully soothing. Its properties are antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory. That way it has regulating effect on our immune system. Due to its expectorant properties, Ravintsara is also often used for coughs and colds.

The scent is reminiscent of eucalyptus and is fresh and camphor-like and is one of the best essences for cleaning and revitalizing the smell of living and working spaces, as well as for general room air improvement.

Ravintsara oil is not suitable for internal use in pregnant women, infants and small children. For external use in babies, only the lowest concentrations (< 0.5%) should be used.
